If you ever wanted to study English in the south of England but are perhaps put off by the idea of living in a giant city like London, then the home tuition programme offered by HLI could be what you are looking for. Your classes will occupy 15 hours per week and will be based on the specific types of content that you request from the teacher that you will be living within their family home.

Of course, your English practice doesn’t end when your classes do, since you will be able to converse with the family whenever you are all at home. There’s plenty to do in the town of Reading on a normal day, including a rich variety of museums, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. When the date comes around, you’ll also be able to take advantage of the hugely popular Reading Festival, if you like to enjoy live music festivals.

No matter what you’re interested in doing in your free time, your host family will be happy to show you around the town so that you can easily find what you need. Your hosts will also prepare three meals per day for you, so that’s one less thing you need to worry about during your stay.
