Let Los Angeles be your next stop on your English language journey, with HLI’s home tuition programme that puts you in the immersive situation of living with your teacher in their home. This will allow you to easily get any and all of your English questions answered, and will also speed up the process of learning how to navigate Los Angeles in both a cultural and a practical sense.

Cinema enthusiasts will know exactly where they want to check out first after they arrive in Los Angeles, but perhaps less well-known is the fact that Los Angeles has more than 14 beaches for you to explore in your free time between classes. This is an enormous city, but with the help of your home tuition hosts, you will quickly learn the fastest and safest routes for moving around Los Angeles, and where to find the best places for pursuing your personal hobbies and goals.

HLI has Local Organiser staff working within Los Angeles, whose job is to resolve any kind of issue you might encounter while taking your course.

Classes run Monday to Thursday with optional elective lessons on Friday.

Kaplan Los Angeles offers students the chance to develop all aspects of their English ability through their 20 hours per week General English course. Participants can expect carefully designed lessons from their experienced and qualified teachers, who build on students’ understanding progressively based on material from prior lessons.

You will be appropriately challenged throughout your time with this school, due to their use of placement tests every 5 weeks, for the purpose of measuring your progress constantly.

Los Angeles is usually not referenced for its student presence, but since LA is home to the University of California, there is a considerable amount of student activity around the school location. This will give you more to enjoy in your free time when you’re not studying English.

This course includes 20 lessons (16 hours) of English lessons, on campus accommodation, a full programme of activities and one excursion per week.
The course will take place in Pepperdine University - Malibu.

This course is best for learning as quickly as possible, for academic or professional setting.
