Location: SEDA Summer School Galway is a summer school for junior students located in the bustling Irish city of Galway. Housed within the University of Galway's Dunlin Village, a well-equipped campus, ensuring that students have all they need in terms of tuition, recreation and nutrition all under one roof. Galway is around a 50-minute journey from Galway Airport or a 200-minute journey from Dublin International Airport via public transport.
Course selection: These summer programmes are open to students aged 12-17 years. Each programme includes 15 hours of morning English lessons, 5 afternoon cultural activities, 5 evening activities, 1 half-day excursion and 1 full-day excursion per week. All meals are included. All rooms are single en-suite. Students of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu receive 2-afternoon cultural activities per week.
One amount of laundry is included per week.
Learning materials, and an end-of-course certificate, are given for all completed programmes.
Social and cultural: Activities within these programmes can include Irish dancing, University walking tours, Gaelic sports, disco nights, bowling and much more.
Excursions may include trips to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher, visits to the Connemara National Park and much more.
Accommodation: Accommodation is within the student residences of Dunlin Village on the University of Galway campus. Rooms are en-suite single rooms with shared communal areas.

Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
