ISO 9000/9001 (The International Organization for Standardization)
Requirements ISO 9000/9001 member schools need to fulfill | ISO 9000/9001 does not administer certification of their standards, which can only be arranged with an external certification body. ISO has created a committee on conformity Assessment (CASCO), which has produced standards for the process of an external body to assess their standards to ensure that the certification process is to a high standard. |
Complaint/arbitration procedure offered by ISO 9000/9001 | The certified company should be contacted directly should a student wish to lodge a complaint. If this has not been settled, then the Certification body should be contacted, who certified this company. If the matter persists after this process, then the accreditation body of the certification body must be contacted. If there is documented evidence that these three parties are unable to resolve the matter to a satisfactory level then the student can contact ISO directly by submitting a complaint through the following link: https://www.iso.org/complaints.html |
