Location: Frances King School of English has a prime location in London’s Kensington neighbourhood. Less than a ten minute walk from London’s wonderful Natural History Museum, it is near to many other of the important attractions London has to offer: the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College London, and the Science Museum. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are only a 15 or 20 minute walk from the school while Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace are a short tube ride away (just three stops).

Programmes: The school was founded in 1973, with over 50 years of experience, they provide English training for all age groups: General English courses for adults; Family programmes; and English and Culture programmes for mature students.

Accommodations: The school is proud to organise a wide selection of excellent accommodation options for their students. Most of these accommodations are in Zone 1-Central London, where the school is also located, or Zones 2 and 3 which are mostly homestays. But all options have easy connections to the school which is just across the street from the Gloucester Road Underground.

Social Activities: Frances King School of English organises a monthly programme of varied activities for their students, many of which are guided by one of their teachers. Students visit restaurants and pubs together as a group, attend the theatre or a sporting event, have afternoon tea, or go sightseeing. Part of the activity programme also includes guided, thematic walks around London, created by school staff.
