Location: Burlington School is located in the bustling and cosmopolitan English capital city of London. The school is housed in Balham, 8km south of London's city centre and has excellent access to rail links to the city and surrounding areas. Local green spaces such as Clapham Common and Tooting Common, ensure that students have a relaxed area for walks and activities within walking distance of the school. “Super nice teachers and staff, great programme, good group size, both in class and during the excursions! There was also enough free time to walk around the markets etc. in smaller groups or with friends. Wishes were also taken into account and implemented as well as possible! The food was of high quality and variety! In class, there was and still is a strong emphasis on group work, talking to other students and having fun while learning and speaking English. The projects, which were and are worked on in groups within a week, were well chosen and worked out! The atmosphere between class and teacher was excellent.”

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 60 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
