What we dislike about the school
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: Margate is in the English county of Kent, to the South East of the country and is known for its sandy beach, a rarity in the UK. The town is not just popular with tourists, locals from the big cities often escape for a day trip to breathe in the fresh sea air.
Getting around: There are regular trains to both Canterbury and London, where students wanting to explore more that England has to offer can visit the beautiful cathedral or explore the capital.
Local attractions: English In Margate holds its premises in a beautiful, quaint old building centrally based in the town. The beach, with it’s amusing Dreamland theme park close by, is a mere 10 minute walk from the school, the perfect way to catch a break from concentrating on your studies. For the art lovers, the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery is a must see and there is an unusual grotto of shells that would make for an interesting photo snap opportunity. Whatever you may need for a great stay here is within walking distance of the school and Margate has lots to offer you during your stay.
Course structure: The school first opened its doors over 25 years ago and since then it has not failed to offer quality and effective English classes to adult learners. There are a wide array of courses on offer to attract different types of students including general English classes, exam preparation courses, business English lessons, English for nurses and English for Golf. There is a multimedia study centre open into the evening for students to interact with fellow peers and continue their studying in a productive setting outside of lesson time.
