It was a great experience. Competent and very friendly teachers who structured the lessons well. And the afternoon activities were great too. I will gladly come again. :) Clic is a great place to go! A very organised school and Cadiz is a beautiful city. It was a lot of fun. Thank you! :)

Quality of teaching / language progress: I felt well looked after in my course with my A1 beginner level. Well challenged but not overwhelmed. There was a lot of input but still well structured.

I was absolutely delighted with the teacher Isabella (‘Chiqui’), her organisation of the lessons and her pedagogical skills. I also really liked the composition of the course. And also Martin, who advised me, with whom I had personal contact and his excellent reliability.
Disliked
For me personally, the walk to school was a bit long, but that was probably due to my current mobility restrictions.

The facilities are very modern with TVs for listening exercises etc. The teachers are great also. And the activities organised after the classes were excellent. Big shout outs to Ísa, Paula and Jesus. Also the reception and management staff were very accommodating.
Disliked
The accommodation is a 20 min walk from the school which I didn't mind, but some people might.

Some teachers try to compensate at least partially for the disadvantages resulting from the poor organisation of the school through personal commitment.
Disliked
The lessons are taught frontally. The opportunities that arise from small classes (there were two of us!) are not used ... Furthermore, Clic is very poorly organised. As a result, he has to improvise constantly, which is usually done in a very shirt-sleeved and short-sighted way. Clic's demeanour is arrogant. Not recommendable.

1. there was no textbook during my 2 week course (and even if there was, not worth it for 2 weeks), so only photocopies. 2. now my very personal opinion, teacher dependent: Beginners. Within the first few lessons, the teachers try to get the students to speak at an academic level, but with all the grammar. This only leads to frustration, regardless of whether you can keep up or not. Secondly, also very personal, I felt discriminated against by the teacher's very personal indiscreet questions and remarks.

Too small classroom: (Nr 6). Too hot and bad air quality. The AC was not effective. Very much noise from the street. Impossible to acknowledge talk with the windows open. A bit too short lunchtime. Should have been 30 minutes, not 20. There should have been a water dispenser. We should have gotten a weekly schedule, so one could prepare before the classes.

Other comments the lessons were boring, teaching methods hardly ever varied, "learn vocabulary at home" (why do I pay money???), the subject matter was repeated too little and the lesson was not well prepared: easy grammar took too long (e.g. time of the clock), difficult grammar too short! Surroundings: too much noise, unpleasant odors from outside, uncomfortable, no opportunities to meet with students of other classes.

Other comments I found the pace of the classes quite slow and would have appreciated optional homework, spoken and written, on everyday situations, eg, at a lost and found office, to be assessed/marked by the tutor. Also more reading and listening to short texts, followed by questions and discussion in Spanish.
