What we dislike about the school

Location: Killarney School of English is located in the town of Killarney, in the southwestern region of Kerry in Ireland. The adult school is a three-storey building set in its own gardens with a view of the lakes and mountains. Within walking distance of the school, there are several shops, supermarkets, a commercial shopping centre and parks.

Getting around: Killarney is a great town to walk around. Travelling outside of the town is also made easy, as the Killarney train and bus stations are within walking distance of the school's front doors.

Course selection: In addition to General English programmes taught over various schedules and intensities, Killarney School of English provides English plus Activity programmes and Junior programmes several times throughout the year. English Plus Horse-Riding is also available.

Social and cultural: The school's most popular activities are the Ross Castle tour and lake boat trip, the day trip to Dingle Peninsula and for teenagers, the Ballyhass Lake activity centre. Killarney is a stop on the famous driving route, the Ring of Kerry. The area also promotes historical and natural sites such as Muckross House, Muckross Abbey and the Killarney National Park.

Accommodation: The school can arrange accommodation in a local homestay family (full-board).
