Location: Kings is right in the heart of the city of Oxford, opposite St Peter’s College. The centre of the city is filled with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. There is a cinema at the end of one side of the road and a shopping centre at the other.

Enjoying Oxford: All the main features of the city are found in the inner circle of the city. Due to its location, this means that most things are very accessible by foot from the Kings. For trips outside the city, Oxford’s main train station is 10 minutes by foot from the school. From here, students can visit the surrounding cities as well as reach the capital city in under an hour.

Course: There are compact and intensive courses that cover the basics of the English language. Cambridge and IELTS exams are covered in exam preparation courses, which are designed to help students pass these well known English exams. For those wanting to further their education in the English language and need to gain certification to enter a University, Kings has a foundation course, diploma package and an academic programme, all to prepare students for this transition into student life.

Holiday programmes: In the summer holiday months, the school has created junior packages for younger learners.

School facilities: The facilities at Kings in Oxford include a student lounge, hotspot computer access, a computer centre with Apple Ipads and wifi throughout.

Social activities: Kings provides its students with the opportunity to join a well prepared social calendar with an array of activities. Examples of the type of options provided by the school include sporting activities, movie nights, cultural experiences, music nights and many more.

School chain: Kings is a number of well established English language schools in the UK and USA. They understand that learning English is a journey, and there are different needs for the language as this progresses. As a result of this, each school provides a range of courses to cater for these requirements ranging from exam courses, academic programmes, diplomas and courses for specific fields of study such as business.

Kings has partnered with academic establishments worldwide to help students to transition into furthering their education at a university in either the UK or the USA.

They are very very helpful, have great knowledge, explain well, are patient, and have a good sence of humor. It is very effective that three different teacheres teach with different methods every day.

Incredibly competent teachers and amazing atmosphere. Other than learning the English language, we also focused on exploring the different cultures represented in the class.
Insider tip: Every person I talked to just desperately wanted to go home the minute they arrived. The best strategy is to try and meet as many new people as possible; everyone is scared and alone. The likelihood of them rejecting you is very very small. Good friend is the key to an unforgettable stay abroad.

There is a good, safe atmosphere which is reflected in the communication of the students among themselves and how the staff communicates with the students.

The limitation of offering lessons in the desired (tested) level.
Insider tip: Earlier, I mentioned four institutions. But the Old Firestation theatre also has interesting programming.

Quality of teaching / language progress: I wouldn't use the word 'intensive' for the course.
Other comments For parents: it provides a safe place for their children.

Other comments It´s a pity that a student does not get any lessons the first day of arrival, just a test. It would be great to have the possibility to join a group even knowing one´s level only approximately, to avoid wasting time.

Other comments The management's behavior is more than mediocre and despicable. It is clear that they care more about profitability, and money than the quality of education. They count the numbers of hours of classes to set the level of the students. It seems more of a company than a school. There are no adult classes, all ages are mixed, it filled the classroom to reach the maximum level of students rather than the exact level of each. One of the teachers has left us and let us know that it was because of the number of students that went downhill. Personally, I've left the course one week earlier because the teaching was so boring. Lot's of students in my class want to leave the school, but as they have already paid in advance, they are stuck !!!!! I feel like I have wasted my time for nothing !!!!!!! I regret enormously. We can not make progress with such education. Students realize that teachers are wrong often enough!
