Location: Bucksmore English Language Summer School St Hilda's College is located in the historical city of Oxford, in central southern England. St Hilda's presides from the University of Oxford, is situated on the banks of River Cherwell, a short walk from the city centre, and offers junior students an excellent opportunity to further their language skills and reach their language goals. The school is surrounded by gardens and greenery, offering a unique and picturesque backdrop for junior students to study their Intensive English language courses in a peaceful setting. St Hilda's has a great location for international arrivals and departures from any London based airport.

School facilities: The school's facilities are excellent, offering everything a junior student may need to feel at ease in their surroundings whilst having a memorable experience. In addition to a large garden which stretches along the banks of River Cherwell, the school offers common-rooms with sofas, table tennis and pool tables, as well as an auditorium. All programmes also come with 24 hour-security via the school's very own Porters Lodge.

Course selection: St Hilda's College offers an Intensive English language programme suitable for junior teenage students. The programme is available to students of all levels and consists of a weekly 25 hours of tuition, 2 full-day excursions and an evening activity plan. The programme is very dynamic, taught via excursion-linked lessons, project work, elective subjects, in addition to a more standard classroom-based academic tuition. Students are sure to enjoy their time with Bucksmore at St Hilda's.

Accommodation: The accommodation at the school consists of single and twin rooms with shared bathrooms. Students also have an on-site laundry service available to them free of charge.

Visa Documents

Nationals from Singapore do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
