Location: Beltiz Manchester is located in the culturally rich and historic city of Manchester, England. The school is very central, within walking distance of many amenities, restaurants, pubs, commercial shopping and attractions. Such sites of interest within walking distance of the school include the Manchester Art Gallery, Picadilly Gardens, the Royal Exchange Theatre, the Opera House and the Arndale Shopping Centre.

Course selection: Berlitz Manchester offers an extensive range of courses throughout the year. In addition to General English courses, suitable for students of all levels over various schedules and intensities, the school also supplies IELTS Exam Preparation, 40 plus Sports and Culture, Business English, Cambridge Exam Preparation, Academic English, Business English and Executive English courses. For working professionals, Berlitz Manchester has specific English programmes for Lawyers, Healthcare workers, Cabin crew and Pilots. Teacher Training courses are available every month. Junior students have programmes available to them at various times throughout the year.

Social and cultural: In addition to being a very artistic and historic city, Manchester is also home to two of the World's biggest football teams. Some of the most popular attractions within short travel of the school include the Gay Village neighbourhood, Central Retail District, the Science and Industry Museum, the Printworks Leisure Centre, the National Football Museum and more.

The staff, everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable, and the geographical location, because Berlitz is right in the center.
Insider tip: Most of the summer students are Spanish and Arabic (90%). The weather is almost always cloudy and it rains almost every day.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
