Location: CES Vancouver is an English language institute located in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Vancouver, Canada. Housed in the Gastwon neighbourhood, in a classic, brick building near the Gastown Steam Clock, the school is close to several amenities, links to public transport, shops, trendy bars and further sites of social and cultural interest. Attractions within walking distance of the school include the Gastown Steam Clock, Canada Place, Vancouver Lookout, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Seaside Water Walk, the CF Pacific Centre shopping mall, and more.
Course selection: CES Vancouver provides English language tuition to students of all ages. In addition to General English, which is taught over several schedules and intensities, the school provides Exam Preparation programmes (FCE, CAE, IELTS), and private tuition. Private tuition can be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other course or programme.
Getting around: The school is a short walk from several public transport networks, ensuring travel in and around the city can be made with ease. For any travel further afield, the Waterfront train station is within 350m of the school. Vancouver International Airport is under a 20-minute taxi or 40-minute journey from the school via public transport.
Accommodation: The school supplies accommodation in homestays with local families and in student residences. All accommodation is subject to availability and is given on a first-come-first-served basis.

Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 20 C$ per week.
Comments about courses
Students are strongly advised to take out travel and medical insurance before leaving home. Insurance should cover the loss of personal possessions and loss of tuition fees if you have to cancel your course, or return home early.
Private lessons are 60 minutes.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 85 C$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
