Location: Bath Academy is an English language school located in the historic city of Bath, Somerset, England. Named after its famous Roman Baths, students have a nice mix of history and modern living to enjoy during their time in the city. The Bath Academy is situated a short walk from the city centre and has many amenities, shops, cafes, eateries, and more nearby. It is only one street from Milsom Street, which is known for having a great selection of boutique coffee shops and eateries. Attractions and sites of interest within walking distance of the school include the Roman Baths, the Theatre Royal, Bath Guildhall Market, the Komedia venue and Royal Cresent Park.

Course selection: In addition to General English, which is available to students of all levels and taught over several schedules and intensities, Bath Academy offers IELTS Exam Preparation, Academic courses and all-inclusive Junior Summer English courses during the summer months.

Social and cultural: Bath is full of places for engaging socially and has many historic sites and gardens to visit. In addition to the Roman Baths, the city also offers the Medieval Bath Abbey, Royal Victoria Park, the Jane Austen Centre, the National Trust - Prior Park Landscape Gardens and more. Regular walking tours are available to many of the city's attractions. The school also offers free afternoon activities for all adult and junior students.

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 55 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

Visa Documents

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.

Nationals from countries that require a visa will receive documents from the school, related to booking confirmation, which is required for the visa application.
