Location: Spinnaker School of English Portsmouth is located in the port city of Portsmouth, on England's South Coast. The school is housed in the city centre, surrounded by commercial shopping, eateries, restaurants and several of the city's attractions. Sites of interest within walking distance of the school include Victoria Park, the Cascades Shopping Centre, the Gunwharf Quays commercial centre, the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery, and the HMS Warrior Museum.
Course selection: The school supplies a variety of English courses suitable for students of all levels. In addition to General English programmes taught over several schedules and intensities, the school also provides Exam Preparation programmes (FCE, CAE, CPE, Trinity, IELTS) and Junior Summer programmes for students aged 7 to 15 years of age. Private tuition is also available independently or in conjunction with any other course.
Social and cultural: The school arranges many activities and excursions for students to enjoy. Excursions arranged by the school can include trips to London, Brighton and the Isle of Wight. Local activities include historical sightseeing and social activities such as sports, bowling, cinema and more.
School facilities: The school facilities include a movie room, games room, lounge area, free WIFI, a library and a computer lab.
Associations and accreditations: The school is a registered exam centre for the IELTS and Trinity exams.
