It has been certified that technical and organizational security measures have been taken to guarantee the security of personal data. LanguageCourse SL complies with the principles of proactive responsibility outlined in Art. 5.2 and 24 of European regulation of data protection.
LanguageCourse S.L. collects personal data via forms on this website, which are saved in electronic form for the provision of its services. Personal data collection and processing are aimed at maintaining business relationships, providing information, counselling, registration services and other activities. Personal data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained as required by commercial or fiscal regulations.
Treatment of personal data is legitimized by requesting information and/or contracting the services of LanguageCourse S.L. whose terms are made available prior to a possible contracting or by consent to this privacy policy within the online forms on this site.

1. How we treat your data
1.1 We treat your information very seriously. We won't share your personal information with any third party, except with those that provide you with a service, stated below, in which case you give us the right to share the minimum necessary information in order to proceed with your reservation contract and guarantee service quality.
1.2 The following personal data you provide by filling out online forms on our website or via telephone:
- First and last name (and middle name or second last name as applicable), passport number, nationality, date of birth, address, phone number (and emergency number if needed), e-mail. This data is required to process registrations with the school of our student’s choice and to provide appropriate consultation to our students.
- Language level. This is required by schools as availability for specific starting dates depends on the language level of a student.
- Bank information. Should you choose to pay the prepayment of your booking by direct debit, we keep this information until the payment has been debited from your account.
- Credit and debit card information. Should you choose to pay by credit or debit card, the data is saved in encrypted form with our payment provider. We will never see your complete card details. The data is kept until the payment has been guaranteed.
- We don't keep your gender (only in case you want us to treat you as Mr. or Ms. we will keep the treatment part), religion, ethnicity or any association.
1.3 We may send you periodic information about offers on our website. At any given time you have the right to withdraw and may exercise that right through a link in the footer of the email you receive.
1.4 If you choose to rate your satisfaction with the contracted service/products, your rating will be viewable to other visitors of our website along with your age. country of residence, first name and initial, unless you choose to publish your evaluation anonymously.
1.5 After completion of the contractual agreement, your personal data will be automatically deleted after the expiration of the required archiving periods specified by current tax and commercial regulations.
2. Data sharing with other providers
Schools: The personal information you provide is shared with your chosen school (which may be located outside of the EU). Your payment details (credit card/bank account) will not be shared with the school.
Payment providers: We will not save your payment related information in our own system or records whenever you pay by credit card, debit card, paypal or Skrill. See detailed information about
payment methods. In these cases you will enter your payment related data directly at the website of the payment provider. In case of credit card or debit card payments your payment data is processed by the PCI-DSS certified payment provider
Redsys S.L. located in the EU in Spain. We will never see your complete card details. Your card details are only saved by the payment provider. We will only be able to access a so called “token”, which is an ID provided by the payment provider associated to your payment details.
Hosting services operated by a third party: A third party hosts our web server. This is required to provide a fast and secure web service. All data collected as part of the use of this website or in the online forms provided will be processed on our web server. This hosting provider is located within the European Union. The hosting provider does not have root access to our server and can therefore not access any personal data saved on our server. The hosting provider does however have access to the so-called server log files which contain the IP addresses, date and time of request and the requested file name. The hosting provider will keep this data for a maximum of 7 days. The collection of server log files is required to guarantee a secure operation of the server. We will save server logs afterwards for a duration of maximum 12 months on our own server in order to comply with PCI regulations for the exclusive purpose of facilitating criminal investigations in case of attacks on the web server.
We will always keep the information shared with the mentioned third parties to the minimum required. 3. Use of Cookies
Our website saves so called “cookies”.
Proprietary cookies set by our own website serve to improve the usability of your website visit. Data such as course duration, starting date, and accommodation preferences are saved in cookies to avoid that users have to repeatedly enter this information on different places on our website.
