The organisation of the accommodation is good, helpful people, classrooms are equipped, every week the teacher changes. There was listening, we watched video clips, half of the lesson once a week they take you to the city during lessons for a quest, interesting. Teachers try to make time for everyone, this is a plus.
Disliked
The teaching is weak. One week more or less taught well, the second week was bad luck. When you ask, "Why is it this way and not that way?" The question is simply avoided, without saying the answer. Mostly went through grammar, wrote down words. The same can be done from home. Very few words/expressions were given as locals say and what on the internet (for example) you can't learn just like that. There were 8 people in the class, but my personal opinion is that this is too many. We were divided into groups, but it didn't make much sense in practice.

The quality of instruction; the friendly, supportive staff; the interesting mix of student nationalities.
Insider tip: If you choose a homestay, try to find one that has a small fridge--it made such a difference for me to be able to get fresh food from markets so I didn't have to eat out all the time.

The level of teaching, I expected more, it was totally basic. I think it is complemented if you stay another two weeks or if you want to improve your level attend at any other date to the standard course. However, it will not be aimed at people over 50 years old.
Insider tip: The school does not inform you about your level of Italian that the initial test shows.

Quality of teaching / language progress: The visits were very well organized, especially the excellent information provided by Virginia. She is a true art historian who knows how to communicate her knowledge.
Other comments I really appreciate that you offer courses for seniors (50 years and over). We are still functional. Thank you.
