Linguaviva’s Italian Standard course at their Florence location allows students to develop all of the main language skills simultaneously: writing, reading, listening and speaking. This is consistent with the general approach of the course, as it is intended to be useful for a wide range of people and backgrounds. This option represents 20 hours of lessons every week.

This school prefers to avoid translation in the classroom, meaning that all communication and explanation will be given in Italian, in a way that is tailored to your current level. You will use a course book (charged separately) throughout this programme, with your teacher providing additional materials when necessary, as well as directing interactive and dynamic activities with your peers.

Included in your tuition fees, you will receive: the accommodation placement service, the placement test to determine your initial group, academic counselling specifically for Italian universities, certificates, and Linguaviva’s exam fee.

The one-to-one lessons are fully personalised and intensive. It will help you to quickly improve your general or specialised Italian knowledge.

This course prepares students for university study in Italy. It focuses on improving academic language skills such as text comprehension, vocabulary, communicative skills, writing, verbal logic. Subjects available: medicine, veterinary and economics.

This course includes 20 Italian language lessons and 8 art courses held in Italian per week.
