This course focuses on time management, note taking, exam preparation, academic presentations, and essay writing.
This program can be booked as 10 week blocks. It takes 10 weeks to complete the level once students begin the course. It focuses on time management, note-taking, exam preparation, academic presentations, and essay writing.
This is for higher level students, so students may require time studying General English first before they are ready for this course. Completion of this program satisfies the English requirements of a conditional acceptance to the school's partner colleges and universities.

This program focus on writing and researching, and provides students the knowledge and skills to write essays of up to 1 500 words. Students learn reading and note-taking strategies for academic lectures, sophisticated grammar, advanced vocabulary, and precise pronunciation techniques.

UCPP (Pathway) Programme

SGIC UCPP Program is designed for international students who have already reached an advanced level or have completed 8 weeks of SGIC’s Advanced ESL or who have outdated TOEFL/TOEIC scores; but who have gaps in their knowledge needed to succeed at a Canadian college or university.
UCPP is designed to fill the academic gaps needed to succeed in post-secondary programs instructed in English. UCPP covers all the language skills comprehensively: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, including sub-skills such as vocabulary and grammar within an academic context of a variety of tasks/assignments typically found in Canadian post-secondary institutions.
