Language and Activities for Juniors (10+5) (3 to 17 years old)
For students under 13, close supervision is compulsory.
The hosts are experienced at hosting young learners and are carefully selected to match their profile and interests. Living with a host provides them with a safe and friendly environment. Students can customise their Language Immersion by combining their Home Tuition Programme with Leisure Activities, these enable them to learn while enjoying themselves which is the most effective way to progress.
The Home Tuition Programme includes: • 10 hours private language lessons per week • Accommodation in your teacher’s home • Meals and social interaction with your host
Summer Camp (10 to 17 years old)
This course includes activities (Monday to Friday), excursions (Saturdays), TTC pass, medical insurance and a 3.5 day trip to Eastern Canada (Ottawa, Quebec & Montreal). The course does not included any meals during Eastern Canada trip and lunch outside school.
A single room is available at an extra fee of CAD 50 per week.
Mornings will consist of 4 lessons of the ESL fundamentals class. ESL fundamentals teach all the skills required to obtain English language proficiency, such as vocabulary, reading, writing, grammar, and oral skills. The course content and emphasis on certain skills will vary based on each level. During the activities and outings, students are encouraged to learn English in different Canadian settings. Students are presented with a certificate after successful completion, and will have the ability to speak easily with native speakers.
The program provides a full itinerary of exciting events in the afternoons after class, as well as on weekends.

The program aims to provide a comprehensive foundation of all English skills for children. It emphasizes understanding and use of essential communication skills within controlled vocabulary sets, expressions, and grammatical structures. SSLC Vancouver Campus offers quality language instruction to young learners. Our Teens’ Program is a great way for younger students between the ages of 13 to 17 to learn English in a warm, supportive environment and create better opportunities for their future. The curriculum for lower-level students focus on all aspects of the basic communication skills in English, while higher-level students use the curriculum materials based on the contents taught at Canadian secondary schools. High School Bridge Service is available to assist with secondary school application for an additional fee upon request.
Parents can come with their children and study together at our downtown location, and also have the option to stay in the same homestay.

Excursions & Activities All our programmes include a variety of full day and half day excursions, and students also have the opportunity to take part in additional trips (known as optional excursions) if they want to explore the locality further.
When not out on excursions, we also offer our students a wide range of activities to enjoy. These activities vary differently from centre to centre and are very much dependent on the facilities available to us, but in general we always try to include a range of sporting and non-sporting events as well as larger, whole school, evening activities such as discos, karaoke and cultural quizzes.
Junior Standard Course (13 to 21 years old)
Standard English includes:

The English lessons are taught by dedicated and motivated teachers with plenty of enthusiasm for teaching English to teenagers. They structure their classes based around developing grammar, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary and most importantly, conversation. The school believes constant practice in speaking a language leads to confidence and increased fluency, as well as helping to commit new information to memory. The lessons include practice through communicative tasks, project work and intercultural activities, according to the needs of individuals and groups. All classes develop and extend knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and improve communicative skills.
When your lessons are over for the day, don't forget to check out the activities scheduled: whether visiting the sights of your host country, watching a movie or enjoying a party - you are always practising your language skills!

These activities vary differently from centre to centre and are very much dependent on the facilities available to us, but in general we always try to include a range of sporting and non-sporting events as well as larger, whole school, evening activities such as discos, karaoke and cultural quizzes.
Young Learner Lifestyle Programme - No language lessons (10 to 17 years old)
Programme does not include formal tuition, and placement may be with a host family that does not include a qualified language tutor. Instead, students simply join their host family’s life for the duration of the programme. Each week includes four afternoon excursions and a full-day excursion at the weekend (courses longer than one week duration only).
Young Learner General Language - Classic (14 to 17 years old)
This course combines language lessons in the morning with 3 afternoon activities per week and a full-day excursion on the weekend (for students staying 2+ weeks).
Every Young Learner receives an entirely personalised InTuition service before, during and after their course. The Young Learner programmes are designed for students aged 10 - 17.
The Young Learners have three afternoon activities per week. During the weekend there is one full-day excursion. You become a true member of the family for the course duration: do what they do and when they do it!
Young Learner Excursions Focus (14 to 17 years old)
An ideal programme for students who want less formal tuition and more time spent discovering their country of study via cultural excursions. Courses include 10 hours tuition and 4 excursions per week (Monday - Friday).

Super Juniors (10 to 13 years old)
15 hours of traditional lessons are combined with 10 hours of activity-based learning (through arts, crafts, music, etc.) per week to create an age-appropriate and fun learning experience for the student.
Students aged 10-13 are required to choose a Fast Track (25 hours per week) programme. They receive 15 hours formal lessons and 10 hours crafts, games and other activity-based learning, as well as standard afternoon and weekend excursions.

A programme designed for students who want to focus on a particular activity during their course. Courses include 10 hours tuition and up to 4 activities per week (Monday - Friday). Activities are chosen in advance and students do the same activity at least 2 times per week, at the student's discretion.

Summer Programme (12 to 22 years old)
Anglo's language and leisure programme has been designed to give you an integrated learning experience. Each day is made up of a combination of engaging classroom-based English language lessons, friendly team sports, activities and excursions. All this gives you the opportunity to acquire new language and practice your communication skills with English-speakers.
The programme includes:
