Intensive Course and 2 extra group lessons per day focusing on improving speaking skills.

The Intensive Italian course from Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is the main offering among their programme options and involves taking 4 classes every day (20 per week). Most of the lessons’ focus is directed towards verbal communication, meaning you will spend a significant amount of time speaking in class and resolving any issues you have with pronunciation or listening skills. Even so, the elements of Italian language study that are related to vocabulary and grammar are still given their due importance.

This academy believes that play is just as important as work, and for that reason, they organise extracurricular activities for students to enjoy in the afternoons and evenings. These might involve taking day trips to museums, wine cellars, cultural discussion groups, and more. Through these activities, the school wants to show you that learning a language is much more than just learning in the classroom, and instead is all about having fun using your new or expanding knowledge of the language.

This course is reserved for Swedish students with CSN study grants only.

Super Intensive Course plus 10 individual lessons per week.

Super Intensive Course plus 5 individual lessons per week.

This course includes:

Linguistic element: 480 language lessons and 80 exam preparation lessons.

Academic element: 80 lessons Italian Civilisation and History, Art History, Business Italian or History of Italian Fashion and Design.

Final research: 10 contact hours of tutoring.

For the course starting in September the duration of the stay is 34 weeks as it includes 2 weeks of Christmas holidays.

Learn Italian and discover Italy at the same time:
20 group Italian lessons per week in at least 2 different cities. Choose between Florence, Milan, Rome, Turin and Viareggio. The school provides assistance with transfers between the cities (cost not included).

Intensive Course plus 5 culture lessons per week. The culture lessons covers: Art and Culture, History and Folklore, Media and Films, and Political and Economic Situation of Italy.

Organise your own private small group course with four students (all sharing approximately the same level of Italian). Min. 15 lessons per week, additional lessons are possible upon request. The course price includes all four participants.

With a moderate level of Italian prior to arrival, students may request tuition for specific subjects or professional use.
Lunch with the teacher is EUR 200 per day for 4 people.

Organise your own private small group course for three students (all sharing approximately the same level of Italian). Min. 15 lessons per week, additional lessons are possible upon request. The course price includes all three participants.

With a moderate level of Italian prior to arrival, students may request tuition for specific subjects or professional use.
Lunch with the teacher is EUR 160 per day for 3 people.

Students will learn Italian in a pleasant and relaxing environment, accompanied by a wide variety of cultural activities.

Week 1:

Orientation tour of the city, half-day excursion to the vineyards of the ‘Chianti’ area, winery visit including ‘merenda’, guided History of Art visit, tour of artisan workshops (ceramics, etching, Florentine paper, shoemaker), traditional Italian dinner in a typical ‘Trattoria’.

Week 2:

Weekend excursion in Tuscany (Siena or Pisa or Lucca), visiting Fiesole and the Roman Theatre or visiting Renaissance Villas and Gardens, our of fashion workshops or shopping at an outlet, lesson on Tuscan cuisine, visiting a museum or ‘Palazzo’, ‘Apericena’ (buffet with typical snacks).

This course includes:

16 weeks of Intensive Course (320 lessons) and exam preparation (40 lessons).

2 weeks of cultural courses covering Art History, Literature or Fashion (20 lessons).

Lunch with teacher is EUR 80 per day.

This course is designed to help students enter and attend university in Italy.
Preparatory course for Architecture, Medical and other universities.

Intensive Course plus 2 individual lessons per day in your selected professional field.

Possible areas of specialisation for individual lessons include: Business Italian, Italian for Banking, Italian for Law, Italian for the Hotel Industry, The Language of Wine & Food, The Language of Tourism, Italian for Flight Attendants, Italian for Health Care, The Language of Fashion, and The Language of the Libretti/Opera.

This course is designed to teach the skills that are required to attend a fashion and design academy. It will help students pass the entrance exam, learn specific lexicon and cultural background necessary, and an introduction to history of art, design and fashion.

This is a 4 week exam preparation programme for the CILS B1 citizenship examination OR the CILS A2 integration examination.

The course is a package of 20 lessons in total of exam preparation classes for the CILS Exam. It is for students with a A2 or B1 level in Italian.

This course is a package of 24 lessons in total of exam preparation classes for the CILS Exam. It is for students with a A2, B1 or B2 level in Italian. The course runs for 5 weeks with 2 sessions per week.
