The average age outside summer is 5 years higher than in summer.
Location: The school is situated in Down Berkeley, across the bay from San Francisco. The city is famous for The University of California, Berkeley, which is a short walk from the school. The area is a haven for students, with bars, restaurants, cafes and all you can want for a study trip.
Public transportation: The Downtown Berkeley Subway Station is across the road from LSI’s main entrance. The red line runs through this station and travels through San Francisco. There are ample buses for local travel. There is a regular bus service to the main Berkeley Train Station.
City features: The majority of the activities within Berkeley are within walking distance of the school building. The main attractions in San Francisco are accessible by the public transportation links around the school.
Courses: Standard English, intensive English, mini group, afternoon classes and private lessons are the selection of ESL courses offered at LSI in San Francisco. Students can take an exam preparation course for the IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, TOEIC and SAT/GMAT exams.
Pathway course: The school offers a pathway course, which prepares students for entering into an American College by ensuring they have the correct English language level as well as teaching the academic skills they will need for further education.
Official exam centre: Students can take the TOEIC exam at LSI in San Francisco as it is an official TOEIC test centre.
School facilities: There is access to school computers, a self-study area and modern classrooms.
Chain school: As a group, Language Studies International (LSI) has schools located in 7 countries throughout the world. These countries include France, the USA, England, New Zealand, Switzerland and Canada.
For over 55 years, LSI has been supplying tuition to adults, juniors and teachers. Their schools are accredited internationally by such accreditors as EAQUALS, Accet, the British Council, English New Zealand, Languages Canada, and more.
