SEVP (The Student and Exchange Visitor Programme)
The Student and Exchange Visitor Programme (SEVP) is based in the United States of America (USA) and is a branch within the Department of Homeland Security. It focuses on students entering the USA as a non-immigrant with the sole purpose of studying English. SEVP authorises and checks those schools who are approved to accept non immigrant students into their school to ensure that all parties involved are aware of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
