Location: Avenue English Cape Town is an English language institute located in the historic city of Cape Town, South Africa. Housed in the lively and upmarket suburb of Sea Point, the school is within a multi-story office building with many amenities, links to public transport and places of social and cultural interest nearby. Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the Sea Point Pavilion, Brokenbath Beach, Sunset Beach, Mojo Market, the promenade, and much more.
Getting around: The school has the Clarens bus stop just across the road from it, ensuring that travels to Camps Bay and Cape Town City Centre are regularly available throughout the day. Central Cape Town is around a 35-minute bus journey or a 15-minute taxi ride from the school.
Course selection: Students over sixteen and of all levels can study General English over several schedules and intensities. In addition to this, private tuition is also available online or in-person. Private tuition may also be used for Exam Preparation (IELTS, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, Pte).
During the summer months, courses and private tuition may also be available to students from twelve years, subject to availability and upon request.
Social and cultural: The school has excellent knowledge of the city, its happenings and its "Must-see" attractions. Students are invited to enquire with the school for all up-to-date social and cultural happenings and infomration.

In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
