Information about Aberdeen
Why Aberdeen? Aberdeen is known as the Silver City because of the splendid granite buildings and is famous for its lovely parks, gardens and flowers. The city, and in fact the whole area of Aberdeenshire, is a golfer's dream with a vast selection of courses to choose from. There are a high number of whiskey distilleries in Aberdeen to sample this famous Scottish beverage. Aberdeen rests on the coast and there are viewing spots along the waterfront as the area is known for dolphins and if you are very lucky basking sharks! As you can see there are heaps of things to do for individuals as well as families, and everyone will enjoy the city's Amusement Park!
