What we like about the school

What we dislike about the school
  • Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
  • Additional private lessons quite expensive

Venue: Sprachcaffe GEOS Vancouver, is located right in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown core, surrounded by eateries, bars, banks and plenty of shopping. Less than ten minutes on foot from Waterfront Station, a main hub for trains, seabus and subway, the school is both easy to get to and well situated for discovering other parts of the city. The noise of Vancouver City can be left behind easily too; the vast and green Stanley Park, probably one of the most well-known parks in the country, is only fifteen minutes away.

The School: Sprachcaffe GEOS Vancouver offers courses which have a little something extra than the average English classes: all courses in their catalogue, from the Standard to Intensive include 2 free Study Club sessions per week where students can get any extra help they need with their classwork. Students can opt for General English, Exam preparation classes, English for Academic Purposes or University Preparation programmes.

Juniors: During the summer months, Sprachcaffe GEOS also offers package programmes for teens and young adults with a choice of accommodation in residence or with a host family to maximise their immersion experience.

Other comments My homestay family is busy. I couldn't spend a lot of time with my family. Also, we use another door when we go to a school and come back home. we have completely seperate space, so I think it's not homestay just guest house including meals. My homestay mother didn't know when I go back to Japan. The last day also I had dinner alone. This homestay was not bad, but not good. Maybe students who don't want to think about their homestay family is good for them.
