Intensive Course and 2 extra group lessons per day focusing on improving speaking skills.

The Intensive Italian course from Scuola Leanardo da Vinci at their Milan location offers learners the chance to level up their Italian language skills through 20 professionally prepared lessons every week. The classes take place every weekday, and have a maximum of 14 participants per group - so you won’t be overwhelmed by large groups, and instead find yourself in a medium-size format that allows you to participate easily.

A preference is given to conversation practice, but even so, you can expect to be exposed to significant amounts of material and activities that are designed to work on your reading, writing, listening, and vocabulary expansion.

The course does use a coursebook, and this will be included in the fees you pay while signing up. Your teachers at this school will make use of a variety of activities to make their classes as engaging as possible - so you will not simply be working from the book.
Every group is invited to take part in extracurricular activities in Milian, usually in the afternoons or evenings. These outings are intended to get students out in the real world having fun while using and improving their Italian language skills.

This course is reserved for Swedish students with CSN study grants only.

To take part in the course students must have Italian origins, proven by a document attesting the Italian citizenship of the student or the parents/ancestors.

Course Includes:
4 daily Italian language group lessons with students of different nationalities (students join the general group language courses at their level).
6 weekly lessons on selected days with the following programme:

• History of the Italian emigration,
  
• Analysis of the region and the place where the student's ancestors started their
  journey,
  
• Study of the dialect spoken in the region of origin,
  
• Research on the origins of the student’s surname with the help of the teacher,
  
• Planning the visit to the place of origin of the student’s family.
  
  This course will take place even with only 1 participant: in such cases, instead of the 6 classes specific to the programme, the student will have 3 private lessons per week covering the same material.

Learn Italian and discover Italy at the same time:
20 group Italian lessons per week in at least 2 different cities. Choose between Florence, Milan, Rome, Turin and Viareggio. The school provides assistance with transfers between the cities (cost not included).

Intensive Course plus 5 culture lessons per week. The culture lessons covers: Art and Culture, History and Folklore, Media and Films, and Political and Economic Situation of Italy.

Organise your own private small group course with four students (all sharing approximately the same level of Italian). Min. 15 lessons per week, additional lessons are possible upon request. The course price includes all four participants.

With a moderate level of Italian prior to arrival, students may request tuition for specific subjects or professional use.
Lunch with the teacher is EUR 200 per day for 4 people.

Organise your own private small group course for three students (all sharing approximately the same level of Italian). Min. 15 lessons per week, additional lessons are possible upon request. The course price includes all three participants.

With a moderate level of Italian prior to arrival, students may request tuition for specific subjects or professional use.
Lunch with the teacher is EUR 160 per day for 3 people.

Students will learn Italian in a pleasant and relaxing environment, accompanied by a wide variety of cultural activities.
Week 1: orientation tour of the city, guided tour to the ‘Museo della Scala’ and Brera district, Italian cooking class, classical concert or opera, visiting the “Foundation Giuseppe Verdi, the House for Musicians".
Week 2: weekend excursion to Como or Verona, visiting Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Last Supper’ and Santa Maria delle Grazie church, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, the district of ‘Navigli’ (art studios and antique shops), the ‘Museo del Novecento’, shopping in via Monte Napoleone (fashion and prêt à porter shops), and trying a traditional Milanese ‘aperitivo’.

Lunch with teacher is EUR 80 per day.

Organise your own private course for two students (both sharing approximately the same level of Italian). Min. 15 lessons per week, additional lessons are possible upon request. The course price includes both participants.

This course includes:
Linguistic element: 480 language lessons and 80 exam preparation lessons.
Academic element: 80 lessons Italian Civilisation and History, Art History, Business Italian or History of Italian Fashion and Design.
Final research: 10 contact hours of tutoring.
For the course starting in September the duration of the stay is 34 weeks as it includes 2 weeks of Christmas holidays.

This course includes:
16 weeks of Intensive Course (320 lessons) and exam preparation (40 lessons).
2 weeks of cultural courses covering Art History, Literature or Fashion (20 lessons).

This course is designed to help students enter and attend university in Italy.
