Position in Vancouver: Oxford International Education is a few streets back from the Vancouver harbour, which is to the east of the city. It is well located within the city as a whole, in the neighbourhood known as Downtown Vancouver, which is thought of as the centre of the city. This area is known for its clubs and bars at night, and for its bistros, food stands, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping options during the day.
Travelling around the city: The school is well positioned for transportation around Vancouver. A short walk from the school entrance, less than 5 minutes, is the travel hub known as the Waterfront. Here students can use the train, metro service and even the sea bus to navigate Vancouver. The metro station has both the Canada Line and Expo Line running through it. The Canadian Line has a connection all the way to the International Airport in Vancouver.
Things to do: The harbour is home to Canada Place as well as the Vancouver Christmas Market during the winter months. It is a 10 minute walk into the heart of the city, where there are plenty of activities to partake in. Stanley Park, the main attraction of the city, is around 20 minutes from the school either by foot or public transport.
Courses at the school: The school offers morning and afternoon group classes to accommodate for the different schedules of its students. It offers an IELTS exam preparation course for those who need to pass this exam for business or further education. In the summer months, Oxford International Education opens its doors to junior students by creating a full programme for them to enjoy during their stay.
University Pathway Programme: The University Pathway Programme is the perfect option for students who want to continue their studies. This course prepares students for the language used in a University environment.

The schools are all equipped to teach the English language in a range of options that covers a wide spectrum of student’s learning needs.
