The school is housed in the Downtown Commercial area, close to shops, eateries, amenities, links to public transport and green spaces such as Prince's Island Park, Eau Claire Park and more.
Course selection: International Gateway (IGK) Calgary supplies English language programmes to students of all levels and several necessities. In addition to General English taught over various schedules and available to students of all levels, the school provides University Pathway, Business English, IELTS Preparation programmes and TESOL courses.
The school also provides several courses in the business, technology, and hospitality & tourism industries.
Social and cultural: The school is an educational institute well versed in supplying a full and varied activities plan to students. IGK Calgary keeps students up-to-date with the local happenings and regularly arranges activities for students which can include discovering ancient fossils at the Dinosaur Provincial Park, visiting Calgary Tower, cycling at Nose Hill Park, trips to Banff and much more.

Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 25 C$ per week.
Comments about courses
Valid medical insurance which covers students' entire stay is required for all students. Available before arrival from IGK at a cost of CAD 25 per week. Proof of valid medical insurance will be checked on the first day of classes.
Guardianship is a requirement for all unaccompanied students under age 19. Initial fee CAD 200 + CAD 120 per month service care.
