Location: Converse International School of Languages (CISL) Junior Centre Washington DC is located in the capital city of the U.S., Washington DC. Housed in Georgetown University, teenage students have a whole range of sites and activities of cultural interest within easy reach.
Course selection: Programmes are available to teen students aged 13-17 years for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. The "Georgetown Campus Programme" includes on-site residential accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), a varied programme of activities and at least one excursion per week. Excursions and half-day activities typically include trips to New York City, Baltimore, bike tours of Washington D.C., the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Natural History and much more!
Accommodation: Accommodation is within the LXR Hall, a Georgetown University Residence. The rooms and bathrooms are shared.
School chain: Converse International School of Languages (CISL) has supplied English language programmes for over 50 years. They currently have numerous Junior Camp locations throughout America, a Summer school in Chicago and a school for adult students in San Diego.
CISL is accredited by the CEA (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation), which, in turn, is recognised by the U.S. Secretary of Education as an accrediting agency for English language schools and programmes throughout the U.S.
CISL is also a member of English USA.

Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
