Brittany is the most westerly region in France, protruding into the Atlantic Ocean. Its coastal line has beaches and rugged cliff edges. On the western tip of the region are landmarks including Pointe du Raz, presqu'île de Crozon and Île de Sein. To the north of the region, sharing its coast with the English Channel, visitors frequent the Cap Fréhel, Grand Bé and Fort la Latte. The region's capital is Rennes, a University city to the east of the province. Rennes is home to the Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes, Parlement de Bretagne and Musée des Beaux-Arts.
