Toulouse ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Toulouse
What our students said about Toulouse
Mixture of a traditional city (important on the medieval Way of St. James, which manifests itself in fantastic buildings and was underpinned in socio-historical terms by a Cathar exhibition during my stay, as well as the Spanish-Republican refugee movement in the Resistance Museum, the importance of Spanish is still clear today) and modern city (significant Universities especially in technical - Airbus location - and medical areas, lively compact city center not least with over 100,000 students, lively music scenes of various genres and a very good art gallery with Les Abattoirs, Ligue 1 football and a traditional top rugby club.) Good train connections, for example to UNESCO World Heritage Sites Albi and Carcassonne. Good public transport in the city, if you also use buses and trams away from the metro: very good plans and weekly network cards.
Toulouse is a great city! Be sure to check out as many food places as possible! Toulouse has some great spots, but the real sight seeing is outside in Albi, Carcassonne, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Foix, etc.!
The city is very beautiful. You won't get bored with so many parks, they are huge. Many monuments to see, although many closed due to subway works. But it is a very expensive city.
Toulouse is a good mix between a small city and a small town. It is super nice to be there and the people are very friendly.
Good city to enjoy it, good university environment, central locations, good public transport links to nearby towns...
Beautiful city for a nice holiday. By car you can get to the sea and the mountains in 1-2 hours.
Incredibly versatile - exciting - future-oriented - green! Perfect bike city!!!
I found the city very beautiful and there were many places to visit.
What school directors said about Toulouse
As the capital of south-western France and the gateway to the whole Occitanie region, Toulouse offers you the perfect setting to learn French and to immerse yourself in the French language and culture! Toulouse is the 4th city of France and has been ranked the best French student city! It offers the perfect balance by keeping a spirit of « small town » with a rich cultural and historic heritage and its authentic « art of living », offering as well the energy of a big European city, creative, expansive and innovative.

The greatest strength is the online materials from the 4 KLF schools (I also experienced this in Lyon Bleu in 2023 and was an important reason for choosing Langue Onze in Toulouse). There was also a very useful carnet de route in Langue Onze.

My teacher, Carol... she was great! It's obvious that she has been teaching for years. She makes everything very dynamic.
I would love to repeat and have the same teacher.
