The teacher I had was really great and the school staff was also friendly and well-organized. I think the courses could encourage a faster progress but the speed seems to be about the same as at other schools in Berlin. The only serious problem with the school is how expensive it is.
Insider tip: It's probably better to organize your own accomodation. That's what I did and I had a great time while paying a lot less than what the school offered.

I believe that the most important thing was that all teachers were very helpful. They had the necessary abilities to teach us significant stuff in German and provide us with some good quality of knowledge in the German language.
Insider tip: You must be willing to climb up the levels of classes and that's why you should work hard. Also, you always have to ask you be transferred to another class when you think that the specific one you attend is too hard or too easy for you.
Review details
Other comments The only thing that I didn't appreciate so much was the evaluation progress. Some students may have not be given the opportunity to attend classes of their level because of the lack of some teachers' good evaluation skills.

Once a week, a test for passing the material, if two times in half a year (4 weeks) wrote on a score of less than 60%, they send it to the course below, so it stimulates
Insider tip: All explanations, starting with a1, will be given only in German, maybe a1 is still in English, I was from b1.2 to b2.2, everyone speaks only German,

Quality of teaching / language progress: The school is good, all teachers are experienced, additional material is always given, except for the textbook, several times a week afternoon Activiti (visiting museums, excursions) or additional classes at the school (on various topics)
Other comments There were no Russian-speaking students in my course, for me it is a plus, the group is very multinational, if you want to get to know each other and communicate, you will have to develop spoken German

Other comments the kitchenette in the apartments is really bad: absolutely small and inadequate facilities. There was just one pan, without the cover. The microwave would have been very useful, but notwithstanding the fact that I have complained for two weeks in a row with the reception I got nothing, not even one of the things (in my opinion) fundamental such as a lid, a sharp knife, a saucepan, a colander , a can opener or a bottle opener. I heard from other guests that it's like that in all the apartments.

Other comments I had a problem. I booked the expensive Car-servise from the airport to my hostfamily´s house, but my airplane was very late, so I couldn't be in time at the Tegel(Berlin) airport. So I couldn't get the servise, and took a taxi. But after that I could get back the mony only for the taxi.
