22 Combined English Group and Individual Lessons in St. Julians

This course, which combines the ACE Business 20 plus 10 private lessons, is ideal for students who want to improve their English skills for use in a wide range of general business, marketing and financial contexts. It combines general English with specialist Business and Finance related topics as well as the option to prepare for the Cambridge ICFE and BEC exams.

If there are less than 6 students registered on the course, the group lessons will be reduced to 15 per week but the individual lessons continue as booked.

This course combines 20 group lessons with 20 individual lessons per week. Individual lessons are a great way to enhance your learning experience and progress more quickly.

This course prepares students for the CAE exam. It includes 20 group general English lessons and 10 individual exam preparation lessons per week.

In keeping with the ‘holistic descriptors’ laid out by the ICAO to ensure flight security via clear and accurate communication, the course gives students the correct language to enable them to effectively check for understanding, confirm information, resolve complications and misunderstandings, and deal with unexpected and/or problematic situations.

Drawing on students’ own needs for the direction of the course, the programme typically includes using as many realistic work scenarios as possible to structure the lesson, while integrating all four language skills as relevant to each activity. There is therefore heavy reliance on the active involvement of students who are expected to contribute their own experience to the class in order to create effective and highly engaging simulations of the office and the courtroom.
