4 English Intensive Language Courses in Santa Barbara

Immerse yourself in a new country and culture, and get your English language skills and fluency to a high standard with an academic semester course. This is an intensive course where you will receive a total of 35 lessons per week including 8 Specific Skill Lessons tailored to meet your specific learning needs. The classes focus on reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. In addition to your lessons you will have access to teacher-led study sessions with guidance and monitoring, access to K+ Online complementary learning materials and access to K+ Online Extra additional learning materials for self-directed study. This academic semester course runs for a duration of 5 or 6 and has 2 session breaks during this time.

This course focuses on the techniques required to be successful in the TOEFL exam. It includes 20 TOEFL and Academic English Lessons combining classes intended to improve the students verbal skills and test-taking skills, 7 Structured Study Sessions and full-length TOEFL iBT computer-based simulations with feedback and additional study and library materials and 8 TOEFL iBT and Academic English specific skills lessons.
