Volunteering is a great way to make a positive impact on the world at the same time as boosting your CV and gaining on-the-job training. The UK’s standard visitor visa allows people of all nationalities travelling to the UK the right to volunteer with a registered charity for up to 30 working days (six weeks). Twin School is happy to be able to share their connections with charity partners, and help you get a volunteer placement.

It is important to note that while students with a visitor visa can volunteer, they cannot do ‘voluntary work’.
