Junior Half-day Summer Camp - Afternoon
Camp Features:
- All teachers, and staff are required to speak 100% Mandarin on campus to provide a fully
immersive Mandarin learning experience during the camps. Students will be reminded in
the first class that one of the camp rules is that they shall try to speak in Mandarin ONLY in all class activities and the ones who abide by the rules will be awarded.
- Averagely 3-4 students each class, the school takes maximum 6 students each Mandarin level.
Every student will get full attention from his/her teacher, and for lower mandarin level students, every English word students say we will make sure to teach them in Mandarin and let them repeat in Chinese, and make sure to encourage them to talk in simple Chinese words and
sentences they know in all activities.
- 4 Mandarin levels for 5-9y/o, 8 Mandarin levels for 10-15 y/o, each non-beginner child will
receive a FREE placement test 4 weeks before their camp starting date to place them in
the most suitable group. For 5-9 Y/o, there’s Elementary level, Lower Intermediate level,
Intermediate level and Native level. For 10-15 Y/o, we open 8 levels, from elementary to Native level.
- Classes are available for students who learn simplified Chinese characters or traditional Chinese characters, class slides and working sheets are in both formats.
- The teachers are 100% Native Mandarin speakers with University/Master degree in TCFL or
Educational related majors and each of them has on average 5000 hours' teaching experience.
- The campus is clean, modern, conveniently located and very spacious in size, we have a 2000 sqf campus in the Central campus, 2 mins to walk from Central MTR station, and cheerful service staff who are always happy to help!
- Every group's learning progress and learning content is well planned and is being carefully
monitored by the Camp supervisor, every 8 weeks students will finish 1 Mandarin Time level.
End of each week the school also will send parents photos and videos of each week and update with parents what students learnt weekly and each child’s performance or interesting stories.
Lessons per week: 16 (45 minutes per lesson)
