Students of this programme must have children or a child studying in public schools in Halifax.
The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) was created on April 1, 2018. As an entity, the HRCE operates English public schools throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. Serving more than 53,000 children and students in 135 schools, the HRCE is the largest school system in Atlantic Canada. The HRCE’s vision is to provide a high-quality education to every student every day. CLLC’s Public School Parents’ Program (PSPP) is designed for parents/guardians studying in the Intensive Program who have children studying in public schools in Halifax. PSPP helps parents learn the everyday English they need to thrive in Canadian society. Vacation times are offered that accommodate a public school student’s schedule.
**COURSE OPTIONS**
Depending on the language goals of the student, PSPP students can take course offerings from Intensive General English, Communications, IELTS, and UPP.
