From journalism to marketing, Food and Wine narration is the means that allows us to convey a concept and a story in a precise and documented way, but at the same time, engaging, stimulating empathy, and creating a real and truly immersive experience, helped by new technology.
Through classroom lectures and external lessons, this course offers you the opportunity to learn the linguistic codes, the method, and the platforms to build stories that don’t just talk about food and its protagonists, but rather, TELL it. At the end of the course, you’ll present your own personal and original project, linked to a chosen theme (a tradition, a dish, or a typical Tuscan product).

It is the most effective way to make rapid progress: you live with your teacher who will give you private language lessons and correct you at all times. It completely immerses you in the language you are learning as you put into practice what you have learnt during your lessons through social interactions and meal times with your host.
The Home Tuition Programme includes: • 10 hours private language lessons per week • Accommodation in your teacher’s home • Meals and social interaction with your host
Apply what you have learnt during your lessons, practice your language skills through varied activities with your host. The nature of the activities depend on your interests, as well as the area the host family is located in. Activities are decided between you and your host and can include bowling, mini-golf, a sport event, a ball game, cinema, theatre, a local museum, an art gallery, an aquarium, a wildlife park, a bus tour, a walking sightseeing tour, cooking/baking, shopping, filmography, conversation practise & debates, board games, nature walks, pick-your-own farm, a local festival or event, a street or farmer’s market, an outdoor outing (beach, picnic, lake, etc.), historic downtown, a typical local village, a local place of interest, volunteering for a cause or getting involved in a community project, afternoon tea or country pub (18+), arts & crafts, ice-skating, race courses, etc.
All costs are included: the transport, entrance fees (if applicable) and activity expenses for the student and the accompanying person.

One-to-One Course
This course is very flexible and tailored to a student's needs, interests and schedules.
Private Italian lessons are an excellent alternative to group courses, because they allow the student to work with the teacher on a one-on-one basis and focus on specific grammar, culture and news issues, or on any other subject that the student may be particularly interested in.
Moreover, they can be useful for students who have already attended a group course and need to strengthen and practice their knowledge and the acquired language skills.
This method is also valid for people who need to use Italian in their business dealings and wish to learn the specific economic, business, legal, medical or tourist jargon, or more generally, learn the language that can apply to professional situations in general.

Course: 50+ Course - 2 weeks
Student age: 64 years
Additional activities as part of the 50+ package were a highlight of my experience. I also enjoyed the diversity of students.
19 February 2024
Course: 50+ Course - 2 weeks
Student age: 62 years
The best teacher i have had. Great location. Nice people. The 50 plus excursions were way below par. They offered mostly Florence walking tours and the guide was extremely knowledgeable but the entire tour is done in rapid Italian so you will only pick up bits and pieces. Book your own tours and enjoy this excellent school in the heart of Florence. I give the school my highest rating
