This is a combination course of General English and Conversational English. This course is designed for students who wish to dedicate more time to develop increased proficiency in English in a relatively short period of time.
Lessons can be held in the morning or in the afternoon.

This course is a great option for those students who want to advance their English skills while still having time left over in their daily lives to enjoy other aspects of living in Malta. The school uses six levels of ability to organise their groups, and you will be placed in the group most appropriate for you according to the results of your placement test. Please note that there will be further placement tests at a later date to monitor your progress and change your group if necessary.

As a general English course, the method of this programme seeks to cover all four pillars of language study: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. All participants have the option of adding private classes to complement their Standard General English course, which may prove useful for giving extra attention to some of your weaker subjects.

The Evening course includes General English with a focus on skills for work and study. It is suited to local professionals looking to improve their English language speaking and writing skills.

The General Course from Alpha School in Malta takes an approach to developing the main pillars of language development: Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and useful expressions and phrases relevant to daily life. Apart from these methods that most people are familiar with in a classroom setting, the school also uses less conventional activities involving role-playing, scenarios, and debates.

The BELS school believes in providing their students with a balanced approach to English, consisting of both the traditional system of skill development, and as well the ability to engage with the language spontaneously and with fluency. You can expect to work on speaking, writing, listening and reading, as well as conversation skills, on a timetable of 20 lessons per week.

Some of the modern-style activities that you can expect during your classes might include role-play scenarios, debates, and discussions relating to movie clips, and so on. Classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, helping teachers deliver their lessons smoothly and fluidly.

The most popular and convenient course for you to learn how to communicate effectively with anybody all over the world. You will improve your fluency if you are already an English speaker or up-grade your level if you are a beginner.

This course consists of 20 lessons in the morning, each lesson is 45 minutes and 5 conversational classes in the afternoon, each lesson is 60 minutes.
In the event that there are four or less applicants on any given course offered the school will automatically apply a “Daily Reduction Procedure”, as outlined as follows:
Reduction for One Student - Reduced by 2.5 days per week (one-to-one)
Reduction for Two Students - Reduced by 2 days per week

Can also be taken at the following times: Afternoon: 13:00 - 16:30
The high season supplement EUR 45 does not apply to courses longer than 8 weeks.
