Location: Oxford International Education is situated in Downtown Toronto, just on the edge of the fashion district. This is right in the heart of the city, with a number of interesting neighbourhoods to explore. The area itself is a blend of high rising skyscrapers, excellent nightlife, a range of eateries, giant shopping malls and it also includes the harbour front.

Getting around Toronto: The school is on a street parallel to one of Toronto’s main tram line streets. There are many stops a short walk from the Oxford International Education, where students can access a number of different tram routes. In 10 minutes, students can walk to two stations on the Line 1 Metro service. This loops around the city and heads north to surrounding boroughs and attractions such as the Casa Loma. The actual centre of Toronto is 20 minutes by foot from the school.

Features of Toronto: The main attractions in Toronto are mainly all scattered around the downtown neighbourhood. This means that places such as the CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market and Art Gallery of Ontario are all relatively close to Oxford International Education. High Park, and, as mentioned before, Casa Loma are easily reachable by the metro system or by other public transportation options.

Course structure: The school has a range of intensities for students to learn general English. These are held in the morning or afternoon in groups. Junior Packages are available for the young learner to come to Canada to learn English during their summer vacation. The school has a well constructed University Pathway Programme for students to understand the language involved in further education. Pathway Programme counsellors are available to help the students through the process of applying for University.

Social activities: Oxford International Education has an intensive activity programme for students to join and meet others learning at the school. The type of activities on offer include pub nights, game nights, ice skating, visiting markets, movie nights, shopping, food trips and many more.

Very good mix of ages under 25, no students from the home region, so 100% English communication. The hostess was great - the dormitory was OK.
Disliked
The journey from the accommodation to the school was always around 40 to 50 minutes. The cost of tickets for public transport is relatively high.
