7 English Intensive Language Courses in Edinburgh

Immerse yourself in a new country and culture, and get your English language skills and fluency to a high standard with an academic semester course. This is an intensive course where you will receive a total of 35 lessons per week including 8 Specific Skill Lessons tailored to meet your specific learning needs. The classes focus on reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. In addition to your lessons you will have access to teacher-led study sessions with guidance and monitoring, access to K+ Online complementary learning materials and access to K+ Online Extra additional learning materials for self‑directed study. This course includes 20 or 24 weeks of tuition and 2 session breaks taking the total time from start to finish 21-23 weeks or 25-27 weeks.

This Intensive English course consists of the General English course combined with 7 lessons of online teacher led study session plus 8 Specific Skills Lessons tailored to meet your specific learning needs coming to a total of 35 lessons per week. The content focuses on reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation through an integrated skills approach. Students will also have access to K+ Online complementary learning material as well as access to teacher-led study sessions with guidance and monitoring and access to K+ Online Extra additional learning materials for self?directed study.

The Edinburgh Festival course is designed to help international students make the most of the theatre, music, comedy and dance performances at Edinburgh's famous festival of the arts. This course includes 20 General English lessons + 8 festival classes + 7 lessons of supplementary Structured Study (K+ online material for self-directed study).
