Location: The school is in the Coal Harbour neighbourhood of Vancouver. It is just above the centre of the city and runs along the Vancouver Harbour. It is a mixture of high rising towers, and waterfront restaurants. There is a cobbled path that stretches along the harbour, all the way to Stanley Park. The school is in the part of the neighbourhood closest to the city centre and has a large variety of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and clothing shops all around.

Getting around: The closest metro station to St Giles International is Burrand, a quick five minute walk from the school. This has the Expo Line running through it, which stretches south east down to Surrey. It is an 11 minute walk from the school all the way to the central hub of Vancouver, to attractions such as the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Major attractions in Vancouver: Stanley Park is 17 minutes from St Giles International. South of downtown Vancouver is the Queen Elizabeth Park and VanDusen Botanical Garden. This is 28 minutes by metro from the school. North of the city is the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, which is around 30 minutes by bus from the school.

Course structure: The school has English group courses, combination packages and private programmes. There are English courses for specific areas such as Cambridge exam preparation courses, business English classes and English for university studies.

Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 94 C$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
