Location: HIL Liverpool is an English language institute located in the culturally rich English city of Liverpool. Housed in the Toxteth neighbourhood, within walking distance of the city centre, the school has several attractions, amenities, links to public transport and sites of social and cultural interest close by. Such places would include several bars, eateries and restaurants, the Quirky Quarter, Liverpool Cathedral, the Cavern Quarter, Princes Park, the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool and much more.

Course selection: In addition to General English taught over several schedules and intensities, the school also provides Exam Preparation programmes (FCE, CAE, IELTS) and courses in Communication Skills. Private tuition can also be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other course.

Getting around: The school has several links to public transport nearby, including Liverpool Central train station which is around a 25-minute walk from the school or a 5 to 10-minute taxi ride.

Visa Documents

Nationals from Czech Republic do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
Check visa requirements for nationals from other countries.
