One of the most common complaints about language school experiences is that learners don’t speak enough English during or after their classes, but that is not the case with HLI’s programmes that let students live with their teachers. You will share your teacher’s home in Melbourne, giving you access to their language tuition and hospitality together in one package. Full board is provided, and you will benefit from sitting down 3 times a day to eat and talk with your teacher - and if you’re an international student then these conversations will also help you to learn Australian culture more quickly.

This option offers you 15 hours of classes that are fully customised for you, depending on your goals and personal interests. Having everything tailored to your needs means that your teacher always meets you precisely at the level you are currently at, and all of your questions and doubts will be easily resolved.

To make sure that the experience is everything you expected, there is an assigned Local Organiser agent whose job is to ensure that even small problems are dealt with very quickly.
With this programme, you will be completely immersed in the target language and culture. The private lessons will take place at the teacher’s home and are tailored to your needs and interests. The programme also includes accommodation in a private bedroom (Sunday to Sunday) and 3 meals per day with the teacher’s family.
You can customise your stay by booking additional lessons, activities, courses for specific purposes, private bathroom, accommodation of superior standard, airport transfer and close supervision for young students.

Electives are only available from the second week.
Maximum 12-week enrolments so that any application sent is for tourist or working holiday visa only.

Students will focus on developing their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for personal, social, work and study purposes.
