The average age outside summer is 2 years higher than in summer.
Location: The school is located right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is a built up area with lots of restaurants, shops, bars, clubs and the CF Pacific Centre Mall.
Getting around: There are a lot of metro options a short distance from the school building. Around the corner from the school is Granville Station, which is on the Expo Line. This line runs from the centre of Vancouver, past Science World, to the boroughs south east of Vancouver. ILSC Language School is a 7-minute walk from the Waterfront Station Transit Hub. This is a train station, metro service and ferry service.
Things to do in Vancouver: Stanley Park is a wide open space with a number of attractions found within its circumference. It is a 15-minute bus ride from the school, or a 30-minute walk. Granville Island takes 21 minutes by bus from ILSC Language School.
Course structure: The school offers a selection of full time and part time general English group courses. There are specialist courses to prepare students for the Cambridge exam. A volunteer programme is available at ILSC Language School. For those wanting to enter into the education system, there is a High School preparation course and a University preparation course. Students can book private classes for general English or specialise in a specific field.
