At the end of the course, a certificate and report will be given to full-time students who have studied for 2 weeks or longer. A student has the option to study a special language topic such as Phrasal Verbs or Everyday Expressions. Students taking exams like KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, or IELTS may do exam practice.

During the lessons you will quickly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. You will cover all language areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading and writing. A text book will be used in conjunction with a vast range of materials and exercises including roleplays, newspapers and magazines.

Students of this course will join the General English classes in the morning. From Tuesdays to Thursdays there will be afternoon classes on different language skills.

The main course has max. 14 students. The Specialist Purposes part of the course will take place in a mini-group (max. 4 students) or private lessons.

There are few places we associate more with academic learning than Cambridge, and the General English course from EC English only contributes to that. When you’re not busy enjoying this historic university town’s architecture and scenery, you’ll be taking 20 classes per week (for a total of 15 hours.)
