What our students said about Punta del Este

Punta del Este is certainly an interesting city. This is particularly evident from the fact that many residents return to their predominantly empty properties in the summer (December to March). The long beaches are particularly impressive. The disadvantage is that you basically need a car to do everyday things, such as grocery shopping and sightseeing. Another is that the cost of living is significantly higher than in Germany.

Personally, I don't like Punta del Este much at all, so I was happy that the school is actually in nearby Maldonado, which has a more downmarket, relaxed feel to it

Centro de Enseñanza de Español La Herradura

The friendliness, informality, flexibility and competence with which the teaching and accommodation were organised, alongside the excellent tuition I received from my Argentinian teacher (Matías)
I am particularly grateful to the school management for giving me additional access to the accommodation both before and after my actual tuition dates.
