Havana ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Havana
What our students said about Havana
It's a busy and interesting city with a lot of history and culture. It's a shame that some tourists feel harassed by locals who want to get their attention not always for good purposes. You have to be wary of scammers. It does feel safe overall though compared to other big cities in the world.
Great city, very interesting. I would like to explore Vedado, the more recent campus. Too bad we couldn't swim somewhere close.
I really like Havana, especially Habana Vieja. I never felt unsafe. Easy to walk around. Very friendly locals.
Very relaxed atmosphere and lots to see and do. Music everywhere and very open and helpful people.

The team was young and dynamic. There was always someone there, in case if problems, or just to talk. My Spanish teacher had just the right mix of fun and seriousness to motivate the entire group to peak performance. I grew so fond of the people that the farewell was really hard.
