The number one attraction is the Causeway Coast, the country's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a vast display of interesting rock formations and cliff walks makes it well worth a visit. The largest of its cities is the country's capital, Belfast, and the most famous thing to come out of Belfast was the RMS Titanic. The Titanic Belfast is amongst the most visited attractions in the city. It is a dedication to the place where the Titanic was designed, built and launched. Northern Ireland has a spectacular rural landscape with only five cities, which makes it the perfect place to escape the hussle bussle of city life.

Visa: Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term English courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires. Effective from 8th January 2025. Applications can be made from November 27th 2024 Check visa requirements for nationals from other countries.
