Location: Montañita Spanish School is located in the charming and funky beach town of Montañita, Ecuador. The school is housed in a fantastic modern building close to the beach, with lots of natural light and views out to the sea. A short distance from the local bus station, multiple restaurants, hostels, shops and supermarkets, students are in an excellent place to enjoy the beauty of Montañita to its fullest.
Course selection: Finding the right course for your needs is made easy with Montañita Spanish School as, along with traditional Spanish courses taught in groups, the school also offers Spanish in conjunction with Scuba Diving, Surfing and more. Students are sure to learn a lot and have some memorable moments along the way. The school also runs exemplary Spanish & Volunteering programmes, where students may volunteer in local schools, Medical Clinics, Orphanages and on educational projects regarding the environment.
Accommodation: The school has some excellent options for accommodation, with private cabins, with or without kitchens, Homestay accommodation within local families, and shared dormitories, all fantastic choices.
Social and Cultural: Montañita Spanish School are also happy to organise extraordinary trips, such as tours of the Galápagos islands which can last up to 8 days or more! The school also doubles up as a surf school, organising classes in Surf, Yoga, Scuba Diving and Kite surfing for all interested students.

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there are salsa classes for $7 dollars each.
The school offers everyday yoga classes for $7, but there needs to be a minimum of three people.
On Mondays the school has a cena de bienvenida (welcome-dinner) for the new students.
Once a month, the school offers a cooking class. Cecilia, a local cook, teaches the students how to make an Ecuadorian dinner. In the same week as the cooking class there is a surf trip to a pretty beach to enjoy the waves and the sunset. If you don't want to surf, you can also come and enjoy the beach.
